Who you areCan you see yourself in a role where you are in the driving seat for better procurement? Are you passionate about business, the environment and people? Then we are looking for you.
Together with colleagues all over the globe we work to identify and understand all kinds of needs related to IKEA operations. Then, through our sourcing and tendering process, we partner with suppliers to meet those needs innovatively, cost-effectively and with sustainability built in from the start. We provide support all the way through our sales channels, simplifying things and creating happy customers.
To be successful, we think you bring:
º A university degree in Engineering, Business Administration or corresponding.
º Relevant procurement experience from an international organization, preferable within the area of Construction and/or Facility Management
º Excellent business knowledge and mindset and strong project management skills.
º Strong negotiation skills
º Deep knowledge of industry and market specific conditions as well as macro-economic trends.
º A fact-based approach and have experience of supplier management and development.
º Good knowledge of cost drivers and value chain.
º Good knowledge of procurement and data analytical tools (e.g. SAP/Ariba)
º Capability of take responsibility and initiative within your scope of work and to adapt to the fast-changing environment.
º Fluent in German and English language, both written and verbal.
º You are a natural in building and maintaining good relationships with people and you have a strong business mindset and drive. Change and new ways of working motivate you to find new possibilities and better solutions. Experience from procurement projects and driving business on a country or regional level with multiple business partners are a pre-requisite for success in this role. To enjoy working with us you are open-minded, straightforward and share our IKEA values.

The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is EUR 2535,- gross per month (full-time). For this position, we offer a minimum salary of EUR 3900,- gross per month based on an all-in contract(14xper year). It is important to us that you are paid fairly and in line with your competences. Therefore, your actual salary will be determined together with you in a personal interview.
