A Day in the Life:

* In close collaboration with the Site VP GM, you define, implement and manage the manufacturing and site activities in line with the strategy, and have it approved, in accordance with the annual contracts, forecasts, budget and related projects and actions.
* Ensure site production targets within budget and long-term plans and in the SLT lead strategic definition of site revenue in Operations.
* Ensure that these targets are met on time, required quality, cost level and without incidents through a motivated, trained production team and the right standard of the production plants.
* Execute manufacturing strategy and continuous improvement of manufacturing organization. Manage tech transfers and implementation of new products in agreement with business targets.
* Implement the relevant technical standards in close cooperation with Technical Services.
* Ensure harmonized business processes and standards across all production buildings and review/adapt Operations processes to optimize and increase productivity. Put KPIs in place to monitor the overall performance and the effectiveness of work processes.
* Verify that targets on timing (e.g., produce and release of products to deliver on time) are met.
* Special regards need to be given to safety, health, environment, cost efficiency and security as well as quality and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

* Sound chemical and technical education as well as long time practical experience
* People skills: excellent capability to motivate and maintain a positive psychological work environment to ensure greater individual productivity
* Excellent and demonstrated leadership skills
* Strategic innovation and change leader
* Proactive and strategic approach to problem solving with a high level of learning ability, keen to adapt to changing production environments
* Safety awareness as well as cGMP experience
* Excellent oral and written communications skills (German and English)
