As Finance Business Partner Germany for BU Specialties, you will take on a
key leadership role, acting as the senior finance lead and strategic
sparring partner to the BU leadership and plant management. You will be
part of the local leadership team and play a central role in driving
performance, profitability, and strategic execution. This is a high-impact
role that combines financial expertise with commercial insight and
leadership. Your work will directly influence decision-making and help
shape the future of our business in Germany.
-Challenges that will make you grow-
· Act as a strategic partner for BU and plant leadership, steering key
financial decisions through strong commercial insight and financial
leadership.
· Lead all financial planning cycles (budgeting, rolling forecasting,
longâterm planning) for BU and plant Hamburg and drive profitability
through margin analysis, pricing strategy, and manufacturing analytics.
· Increase performance transparency via KPIâdriven reporting, Power
BI automation, and continuous improvement of FP&A tools and processes.
· Manage working capital and financial risks (metal, FX, energy) while
enhancing profitability frameworks and management reporting.
· Support major strategic initiatives including investments, costâout
programs, capacity expansion, and sustainability projects.
· Build strong crossâfunctional partnerships and drive organizational
transformation through key projects and restructuring efforts.
· Lead, coach and inspire your team while promoting a culture of
continuous improvementâ¯and cross-functional collaboration across the
FP&A network.
-Qualifications that will get you ahead -
· Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
(Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
· At least 5 years of proven experience in Controlling, FP&A or in finance
business partnering within an industrial / manufacturing environment.
· Demonstrated leadership experience and capability: Ability to lead,
influence, motivate and develop teams.
· Proficiency in Power Bi and ERP-Systems such as SAP.
· Strong analytical and commercial mindset with strategic orientation.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills, both in German and
English language.
Work location is locally at Hamburg plant.
