Key Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and continuously optimize manufacturing cost accounting and financial accounting processes in compliance with HGB
- Review and approve expense reimbursements, invoices, asset acquisitions, and payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead monthly and annual closing activities in SAP, and prepare statutory financial statements under German GAAP
- Provide accounting guidance to business departments on HGB application and identify potential compliance risks
- Support tax-related topics, including daily tax consultation and interpretation of tax policies
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for statutory audits and tax filings
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Professional qualification such as Bilanzbuchhalter is highly preferred
- Solid experience in financial accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and statutory financial requirements
- Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO) and closing processes
- Good understanding of cost accounting and financial control
- Fluent German and English required; Chinese proficiency will be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
