Location: Germany - Hybrid / Remote We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager Europe to lead our European finance operations and play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and processes. You will manage and develop the European finance team, collaborate with global stakeholders, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards. The German European entity acts like the holding company for the group on financing, shareholder and cash matters. In this leadership position, you will oversee accounting, consolidation, and reporting activities while driving continuous improvement and automation across our international finance function. Responsibilities Partner cross-functionally with local and global teams to align financial processes and improve efficiency Lead process optimization and automation initiatives within the finance function Lead, mentor, and develop the European finance team Leading projects in the finance field incl tax planning and compliance Cash forecast for the group globally Full responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (in-house) and IFRS (managed via external partner) Manage the ongoing partnership and performance of the outsourced Shared Service Center (SSC) in Asia Oversee the audit process, collaborating closely with auditors and tax advisors to ensure full compliance with statutory and international tax requirements Drive the implementation and integration of LucaNet for consolidation and reporting Ensure accurate group consolidation across all international entities (Germany, UK, Australia, and the Philippines) Your profile Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/ACCA or comparable qualification is a plus Experiences in FP&A Self starter, making impact person Experienced in finance process improvement, digitalization, and automation Excellent communication skills in English and German (business fluent) Experience in group accounting and consolidation Ability to direct the group accounting and consolidation team, ideally in an international environment Month-end closing and financial reporting skills Practical experience in audit management and preparation of statutory financial statements (HGB; IFRS exposure is an advantage) Sound knowledge of SAP (FI, SD, MM) Willingness to travel to Hamburg approximately once per month (travel expenses covered) Our offer A key leadership role with real impact on the company's international finance setup The opportunity to drive digital transformation within a growing global business Flexible hybrid working model (remote from Germany with regular visits to Hamburg) A collaborative, international work environment with short decision paths Discounted cruises for you, your family and your friends as well as other travel benefits Employee discounts through cooperation partners such as Bäderland or Corporate Benefits Contribution to the company pension scheme Regular team events and company celebrations Complete hardware package that we deliver to your home
