We are looking for a Finance Manager (m/f/d) based in Klipphausen, Germany to lead all financial activities of the company, with a strong focus on accounting leadership and full finance operations, including coordination with banks and auditors. The role ensures accurate reporting under HGB and IFRS, supports strategic decision-making, and acts as a key business partner to project controllers, operations, and senior management, ensuring transparency, profitability, and compliance.

## **Your Profile**

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in finance roles
- Strong experience in financial closing, reporting, and accounting operations
- Solid knowledge of HGB, IFRS knowledge is a strong advantage
- Proven experience in contract/project accounting (preferred for project-based or industrial environments)
- Experience coordinating internal and external audits
- Leadership experience managing finance or accounting teams
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R)
- High analytical capability with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong business partnering mindset with ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

## **Key Responsibilities**

**Financial Closing & Reporting**

- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Ensure accurate general ledger accounting and balance sheet integrity
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Deliver IFRS reporting for group consolidation
- Manage accruals, provisions, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting
- Perform IFRS–HGB reconciliation and ensure reporting alignment

**Financial Planning & Analysis**

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital
- Provide KPI reporting and financial insights for decision-making
- Translate financial data into actionable business recommendations

**Compliance, Audit & Governance**

- Ensure compliance with German accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain internal controls and improve financial processes
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including issue resolution
- Ensure audit readiness and data integrity across systems

**Business Partnering & Leadership**

- Act as finance partner to management and operational teams
- Support strategic and operational decisions with financial analysis
- Lead, develop, and motivate the finance and accounting team
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation

- Manage corporate insurance matters at country level
