In this role, youll take on real responsibility - including your direct reports - overseeing financial operations across several entities, ensuring full transparency in all figures, and acting as a sparring partner to the Director Finance. Together with your team, youll drive budgets, forecasts, and reporting, while continuously improving processes and bringing in ideas that truly make a difference.
Finance Manager (m/f/d) - Shipowner / Fleet Management
The Job:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and local requirements
- Financial reporting and analysis for management, stakeholders, and clients
- Budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning including payments and cash flow management
- Contract management and internal quality assurance
- Optimization of structures and workflows as well as coordination of external partners
Your Profile:
- Degree or training in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior role (Audit, Accounting, or Consulting - ideally in a maritime environment)
- First leadership experiences made
- Confident user of modern financial and reporting systems
- Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind
- Communicative, innovative, and eager to drive things forward
- Fluent in German, with strong English skills
