We are an International Baccalaureate World School, providing a continuous spectrum of IB programmes from Early Learning to Grade 12. Our very strong educational programmes nurture the whole child while fostering global citizens and independent, confident learners.
Set in the city of Bonn, Germany, on the Rhine River, BIS enjoys a well-resourced, purpose-built campus with generous playgrounds and green spaces.
**Starting: As soon as possible **
**Working Hours**: Full-time, 100% FTE, 40 hours per week
### Core Responsibilities:
- To prepare and record accurate, reliable and timely monthly financial and cost accounting and payroll data
- To provide accurate, reliable and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reports to regulatory agencies and in-house users of financial, cost accounting and payroll data
- To lead the accounting office and to manage and supervise the accounting staff
- To prepare all external audits and all relevant tax returns
- To perform annual YE closings
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young people in our care and adhere to the school’s Child Protection policies
