Your prospective job:
For our valued customer from the aerospace industry you will work as FPGA Firmware Engineer (m/f/d) in the Bremen area.
Your responsibilities:
- Planning, development and verification of complex FPGA designs from specification to finished hardware
- Architecture design for FPGAs with VHDL
- Design and verification together with the surrounding hardware
- Firmware development (creating VHDL codes, performing simulations)
- Creation and maintenance of documentation such as specifications, design descriptions, test procedures and reports
Your profile:
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science or comparable professional training
- Good knowledge in the field of digital design
- Programming skills in VHDL, Embedded C and C++
- Confident handling of common FPGA development environments and simulation tools
- Knowledge of the development standards ECSS or DO-254 or similar
- Experience with version management tools
- Good English skills are a must and German a plus
