A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a "Gas Turbine R&D – Project Engineer" you are a committed, independent and creative personality with knowledge of gas turbines and basic knowledge of project management. As a member of the Gas Turbine Engineering Project Management Office Team, you will support global project management in the planning, implementation and controlling of R&D projects / programs. In addition to classic project management tools, you will also apply modern agile methods such as SCRUM for the cooperation of the development teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Fostering the standard execution schedule as a knowledge base for other parties supporting time scheduling in Large Gas Turbine R&D projects
* You establish and coordinate overview of budget, milestones and resource plans to facilitate regular monitoring
* Facilitate execution through coordination across multiple functions including engineering, business controlling, supply management, manufacturing development and other interfaces as required
* Furthermore, you support project/program portfolio planning, prioritization and resource allocation
* You facilitate regular program reviews, support resolution of resource, budget or schedule conflicts as needed
* You facilitate project stand up meetings / SCRUM meetings

What You Bring

* Successfully completed Master’s degree in a technical or business-related field
* Proven professional experience in relevant areas such as gas or steam turbines, project management, and project controlling is desirable
* Proficient in standard software (MS Office); experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and project scheduling is an advantage
* Technical product knowledge in the field of large gas turbines (e.g., SGT5-4000F, SGT5/6-2000E or comparable LGT frames) is desirable but not mandatory
* Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken, as well as intercultural competence
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, decision-making ability, problem-solving competence, assertiveness, and a clear sense of goals complete your profile

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
