## The job
We are looking for your support in managing the scope ‘Synthesis Grants’ module within our Planetary Solutions Program, in which interdisciplinary teams synthesize scientific results into application-ready knowledge tailored to the needs of our stakeholders.
## Your tasks
**The core tasks of the Grant-Manager include but are not limited to:**
- Supporting, and managing the first grant-cohort at the UFZ
- Planning and implementation of cross-disciplinary seminars and workshops for the teams receiving grants
- Preparing the second call for proposals at the centre and organising the subsequent selection process
- Identifying potentially suitable topics and interested teams at the UFZ for future grant applications
- Supporting teams find partners for their grants: advising applicants and providing targeted support in identifying and approaching potential project partners
- Organisation of the evaluation of the second cohort, research and approach to potential reviewers
- Marketing: designing and implementing measures for communication, visibility, and positioning of the synthesis grants at the UFZ

## Your profile
- Completed Master’s degree in sustainability sciences, environmental sciences, governance, political or social sciences, or a comparable field
- Research experience in the field of biodiversity, environmental pollution, or resilient ecosystems
- Experience in stakeholder-specific synthesis and integration of scientific knowledge to identify actionable options or transformation pathways
through previous work
- Experience in publishing high-level synthesis publications or white papers
- Structured and independent working style as well as strong planning and organisational skills
- Good proficiency in German and English, spoken and written
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary research environment
## Place of work
Leipzig, possible to work partly from home
## Working time
100% (39 hours/week)
The job position is available for full-time or part-time employment.
## Contract limitations
limited contract / limited contract / until 31.05.2027
## Salary
Remuneration according to the TVöD public-sector up to pay grade 13 including attractive public-sector social security benefits.
