A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Head of Factory Loading & Operational Excellence, you drive the transformation of the Berlin Switchgear Factory toward a highly automated, resilient, and data‑driven Smart Factory 2030. You ensure balanced factory loading, operational excellence across all value streams, and lead the PMO that governs strategic initiatives, Hoshin Kanri, OKRs, and performance alignment. Working closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, and Leadership, you shape capacity, output performance, and digitalization initiatives that unlock growth, efficiency, and competitiveness for our global switchgear business.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Ensure continuous, balanced factory loading by managing capacity, bottlenecks, output performance, and market‑aligned demand steering across GIS, AIS, and Component value streams.
* Drive Operational Excellence using SEPS/Lean, digitalization, and automation technologies, improving throughput, stability, and efficiency KPIs.
* Lead the PMO as the central hub for strategic programs, ensuring alignment with Hoshin Kanri, OKRs, and the factory’s Perform‑Transform roadmap.
* Oversee major transformation initiatives including automation rollouts, layout optimization, Flexline expansion, and Smart Factory 2030 projects.
* Implement data‑driven performance management with transparent dashboards, standards, and cross‑functional alignment.
* Foster a Zero Harm and continuous‑improvement culture that empowers teams through leadership, clarity, and accountability.

What You Bring

* Strong leadership background and extensive professional experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Lean/Operational Excellence, or Supply Chain.
* Proven record in factory transformation, automation, digitalization, and performance improvement.
* Experience in PMO leadership, Hoshin Kanri, OKRs, or large‑scale strategic program execution.
* Excellent analytical and KPI‑driven decision‑making skills, familiar with capacity planning and output steering.
* Ability to simplify complexity, standardize processes, and drive cross‑functional alignment.
* Inspiring leadership style with strong communication, change‑management capability, and a passion for continuous improvement.
