valued, and growth and development are constant. Ferring + You For our
largest manufacturing plant, located in Kiel (Germany), we are looking
for an HR Director. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you
are responsible for a staffing of 600 employees, acting as a single
point of contact for the manufacturing site while leading a team of
local HRs. By building strong relationships with the business, you
will advise and coach the business in all strategic HR matters, such
as organizational design, change management, transformation, talent
and performance management and training & development. One of your key
missions will be to lead the cultural transformation of the site based
on our ACE-model (Accountability, Collaboration and Entrepreneurship).
The role reports to the Managing Director (Site Head) of Ferring GmbH
and has a dotted line into the VP HR for Global Technical Operations.
Your day at Ferring. Challenge the organizational structure and
propose change initiatives leading to improved performance and
employee engagement. Lead and develop the local HR team (direct
management of the HR Business Partner, HR Operations & Payroll; matrix
management for Learning & Talent Management and Talent Acquisition)
and the site’s food services team. Ensure effective collaboration
with shared service partners. Lead the site’s transformational
journey, fostering innovation and cultural change. Take the lead on
employee relations matters. Represent the company in the Works
Council, partnering with the Works Council to create a positive work
environment for all Ferring GmbH. Work with the senior and front-line
managers directly. Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure critical
positions are filled in time. Partner with Learning & Talent
Management to ensure current and future generations of leaders are
equipped for success. Oversee and enhance the effective administration
and documentation of all HR processes, including but not limited to
headcount reporting and workforce planning, payroll, time and
attendance, benefits administration, employee data accuracy and
protection. Represent Ferring GmbH in global and functional projects,
ensuring the voice of the wider manufacturing organization and the
site is reflected in key company-wide change initiatives. Behind our
innovation…There’s you. Minimum of 10 years’ progressive
experience in senior HR leadership roles (such as HR Director or
Senior HR Business Partner) within an international organization.
Proven ability to navigate global structures while aligning local HR
strategies with global frameworks. Proven experience of being part of
a leadership team. Good track record of driving cultural
transformations in change-resistant environments. Change leadership
capability. Able to navigate with different generations. Strategic
mindset, forward looking. Demonstrated capability to influence and
partner effectively with executive leaders, line managers, and
cross-functional teams in a multinational context. Ability to deal
with ambiguity and complexity. Strong business acumen and results
orientation, with the ability to connect people strategy to business
outcomes. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within
the pharmaceutical industry. Sound experience of German labour law,
social system and employment practices. Exceptional communication and
influencing skills. Able to adapt communication style to all levels.
Fluency in German and English are a must. People come first at
