Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional DevOps and development team responsible for designing, building, and operating modern software solutions for public sector clients. Your responsibilities include: - Developing high‑quality, modern, object-oriented Java applications that meet security, performance, and compliance standards required in the public sector - Applying and further developing modern Java frameworks, especially Spring and Spring Boot, to create scalable and maintainable services - Designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable delivery processes using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Git, and related technologies - Designing, developing, and maintaining REST-based APIs within product-oriented and microservice-oriented architectures - Working with relational and non-relational databases to design robust data models and ensure efficient data processing (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) - Contributing to the architecture and design of service mesh–based environments, supporting secure and resilient communication between services - Collaborating closely with DevOps engineers, architects, and security specialists to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery - Participating in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives - Ensuring compliance with public-sector standards regarding security, documentation, and operational excellence This position will be based within the Application Operations service line.
