Who are we?
The "Finance Systems Transformation" department oversees the “SHAPE+ Program”, a cross-divisional Finance ERP Platform transformation initiative reporting to the CFO of the DHL Group. The program aims to enhance the standardization, automation, and user experience of the core accounting including master data management and cost accounting processes. The goal is to establish an efficient, & innovative Finance ERP platform that enables capabilities such as continuous accounting, real-time data processing, and advanced analytics.
As Lead ERP Integration Architect, what are your tasks and how can you be a differentiating success factor for our team?
Our Implementation Leads are responsible for coordinating the delivery of platform changes across multiple finance process domains, here MDM & PTP. This role ensures that the configuration and extension of the Platforms are executed efficiently, aligned with architectural principles, and accordingly to the broader program priorities. The Implementation Lead operates at the intersection of process, platform, and delivery, enabling cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical execution.
Core Responsibilities
Delivery Coordination
* Coordinate daily activities across development and architecture teams to ensure timely resolution of implementation blockers.
* Manage the execution of platform changes across the process towers procure-to-pay and master data management.
* Align implementation activities with release timelines and program milestones, supporting readiness for production deployment.
Cross-Functional Alignment
* Work with process owners, platform leads, and divisional experts to ensure implementation activities reflect business priorities.
* Facilitate communication between technical and functional teams to bridge gaps in understanding and execution.
* Participate in workshops and working sessions to align on requirements, solution design, and delivery expectations.
Sprint & Release Management
* Facilitate sprint planning and backlog prioritization in collaboration with platform and process stakeholders.
* Monitor progress against delivery objectives, escalating risks and dependencies to program leadership as needed.
* Support the definition and refinement of implementation scope for upcoming releases, ensuring feasibility and alignment with strategic goals.
Technical Integration Support
* Collaborate with integration teams to ensure interface designs are executable and aligned with platform standards.
* Coordinate with external and internal teams to validate integration scenarios and resolve technical challenges.
* Support the implementation of cloud-based and hybrid integration patterns, ensuring compatibility with the ERP platform.
Partner & Vendor Coordination
* Engage with external solution providers to align on delivery timelines, technical dependencies, and integration readiness.
* Support joint implementation efforts with third-party platforms, ensuring smooth handover and testing coordination.
* Monitor vendor contributions to ensure quality and adherence to program standards.
Enablement & Team Support
* Provide onboarding and guidance to new team members involved in implementation activities.
* Share best practices for agile delivery, tooling usage, and cross-team collaboration.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and shared accountability across implementation teams.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation across multiple modules and process domains.
* Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies and enterprise tooling.
* Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex delivery scenarios.
* Familiarity with integration technologies and ERP platform architecture.
* Effective communicator with a structured approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
* Fluent in English; additional language skills are beneficial. Willingness to work in a hybrid or on-site model as needed.
