Your main tasks and responsibilities
* This Master's project is intended to complement your education and provide you with insight into the work and activities of the R&D department of a pharmaceutical company.

Your main tasks and responsibilities
* This Master's project is intended to complement your education and provide you with insight into the work and activities of the R&D department of a pharmaceutical company.

* Supporting the Vienna R&D team with the following tasks:
** Expansion of the digital laboratory environment
** Development of automated workflows for novel and established unit operations
** Developing and applying process models for advanced process control
** Validation of the developed tools and interpretation of the results
** Documentation within the scope of the above-mentioned tasks
Your expertise and ideal skill set
* Student with a scientific or process engineering background, preferably in the fields of biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar
* Interest in writing a master's thesis on "Process digitalization & automation"
* Mandatory lab courses during the studies are completed
* Interest in learning new methods
* High motivation and willingness to learn
* Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Team player
* High interest in acquiring experience in the research and development department of a pharmaceutical company
* Personal responsibility, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
* Precise way of working
