Our team at the BMW Group is responsible for the global delivery of new features on the Cloud Data Hub, the central datalake/lakehouse platform within Enterprise Data and Analytics. We enable data ingestion, governance, and analytics at scale, supporting innovative solutions across the company.
What awaits you?
- You will support the team in developing and improving features for the Cloud Data Hub platform and its Data Portal.
- Furthermore, you help to create prototypes, automation scripts, and small tools to enhance platform usability.
- In addition, you will explore cloud technologies and data engineering concepts in a real-world environment.
- Moreover, you contribute to collaboration with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and support solution design.
- You will gain hands-on experience with modern data platforms and learn about data governance and compliance.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in computer science, information technology, data engineering or a related field.
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python or TypeScript) from coursework or projects.
- Interest in cloud technologies and data platforms (AWS experience is a plus, not a must).
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to support in a team.
- Good English skills; German is an advantage.
