Our Analytics team at the BMW Group focuses on analyzing and predicting faults in the BMW vehicle fleet to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. During your internship, you will support us in advancing BMW's digital transformation and gain insights into cutting-edge data science technologies.

What awaits you?

- You will support the analysis and prediction of faults in the BMW vehicle fleet using traditional analytics and state-of-the-art machine learning.
- Furthermore, you help to focus on time-series data analysis to identify and address error patterns.
- In addition, you contribute to the implementation of analytics solutions together with experienced analysis experts and other interns.
- Moreover, you will assist in building your skills through comprehensive mentoring and onboarding for your personal and professional development.
- You will support the team in the independent completion of tasks and receive regular feedback from your mentor.

What should you bring along?

- Studies in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, PySpark or SQL.
- Passion for building outstanding products.
- Experience with software engineering practices and developing quality software.
- High motivation, strong problem-solving, communicative and collaborative skills.
- German proficiency and expertise in one or more of the following: LLMs, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Good English skills.
