IT Project Manager & Business Analyst (m/f/d)
Permanent, Full time
These challenges await you:
* End-to-end ownership of customer implementation projects, with a strong focus on the Freight Chain Manager (FCM) product suite: FCM-CT, FCM-CXD, and FCM-ADM.
* Overall project management and coordination of all stakeholders, including external partners, global product teams, operational units, and customers.
* Analysis, modeling, and documentation of business processes, particularly in air and ocean freight, and their translation into optimal FCM and CW1 system solutions.
* Independent system configuration, including the setup and configuration of FCM prototypes (FCM Partner Administration).
* Design of logical EDI mappings and coordination of the technical implementation with internal teams and external service providers.
* Planning, execution, and documentation of test phases, as well as the structured handover of solutions into productive operation (including support onboarding).
* Analysis and resolution of complex issues in live operations, along with the identification of continuous improvement opportunities.
* Presentation and live demonstration of FCM solutions to internal and external customers, as well as delivery of user trainings.
* Facilitation of workshops and fit-gap analyses to define and implement customer-specific enhancements and adaptations.
* Support in 2nd level support activities and assumption of functional escalation coordination.
* Active support of Sales, especially in tender and bid processes, by providing consulting expertise, requirements analysis, effort estimation, feasibility assessments, and system presentations.
This is what we want from you:
* University degree in Logistics, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
* Strong background in logistics, particularly in air and/or ocean freight export and import processes.
* Proven experience working with CW1 and FCM, or comparable complex logistics IT systems, especially in order management and freight execution.
* Solid understanding of interfaces and system integrations, with a focus on EDI (e.g. data flows, mappings, protocols).
* Experience in the configuration of web-based applications or platforms.
* Excellent process understanding combined with a quick grasp of complex scenarios.
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a pronounced solution-oriented mindset.
* Strong interest and initial hands-on experience in the use of AI-supported tools (e.g. for analysis, documentation, or process optimization), with the ability to actively contribute and drive their practical value within the working environment.
* Good communication and presentation skills, coupled with a professional and confident demeanor.
* High level of resilience, flexibility, reliability, and a strong sense of enthusiasm and commitment.
* Confident use of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
* Fluent English skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level), German language skills are an advantage
