As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, engaging them through outbound activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. You will uncover customer needs, generate interest in our solutions, and hand over qualified opportunities to our sales team for further development. Your Tasks Lead Generation: Focus exclusively on acquiring new customers by identifying and reaching out to potential leads/prospects, using prospecting tools, market research, and your own initiative.Prospecting & Outreach: Proactively contact identified prospects via cold calling, email campaigns, and social media, pitching G+D's Logistics solutions.Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of well-qualified leads and opportunities. Closing opportunities and managing existing customers is handled by Account Managers—your primary focus is opening new doors.Strategy Support: Contribute to the development and execution of lead generation strategies, specifically for IoT Track & Trace solutions (e.g., selling tracking devices to logistics companies).Market Research: Support market research and the identification of new prospects within the target market.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Technical Consultants (Product Management), Marketing, and Sales to develop and refine effective sales strategies.Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions and workshops to deepen your knowledge of our product solutions, ensuring informed consulting and successful sales conversations.Lead Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity and prospect records in the CRM system. Ensure well-prepared handovers of qualified leads to the sales team, including relevant background notes and context.Reporting & Optimization: Provide regular weekly/monthly reports on lead generation activities and results. Actively contribute new outreach ideas and messaging improvements based on feedback. Your Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or completed commercial training in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field * 1-3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Lead Generation, or Marketing, ideally in a B2B environment (internships and working student experience are also welcome) * Strong interest in IoT, technology-driven solutions, and digital innovation * Experience in the logistics industry is an advantage * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German and English; additional languages are a plus * Strong relationship-building and networking skills * Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data, research findings, and CRM systems * Basic understanding of sales methodologies, business processes, and customer engagement strategies * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in working with CRM platforms * Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong willingness to learn * Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills * Adaptable, resilient, and open to feedback and continuous development
