As a Lead Process Engineer Logistics Inbound and Outbound (m/f/d) with a focus on pharmaceutical and biotechnological process design, you will drive high quality technical solutions and lead complex projects from early concept through final design or redesign.
In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, ensuring excellence in process design, technical layouts and project execution. Your expertise will help deliver safe, compliant and future ready solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
You will work with a highly skilled team at our regional office in Bad Homburg, where collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning are central to the way we work. You will be part of an international, professional and committed environment that supports ongoing improvement and development.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

* Lead process planning for Logistics Inbound, Warehousing, Outbound and Process Logistics within biotechnological and active ingredient production.
* Manage all planning phases including budgeting, concept development, execution, installation supervision, commissioning and qualification.
* Provide process level consulting, design input and critical review to ensure performance, quality and compliance.
* Contribute to major technical decisions throughout the project lifecycle with a focus on efficiency and stakeholder alignment.
* Conduct workshops and design reviews, supporting necessary improvements and adjustments.
* Share expertise across teams and drive continuous learning, innovation and knowledge transfer.
* Develop and apply new methods, tools and solutions while enhancing existing approaches and representing Exyte in customer meetings and presentations.


Show your expertise

* Bachelor degree or higher in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, computer science, business administration or a related biotech or pharmaceutical field
* At least 15 years of experience in consulting and engineering, ideally including logistics engineering projects
* Strong leadership skills within project structures, combined with a proactive, solution oriented and collaborative mindset
* Deep understanding of logistics processes with strong IT affinity and experience with transport and warehouse IT systems such as SAP IM, SAP WM or on site logistics systems like Insite LMS
* Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment
* High stress resilience, detail orientation and the ability to work independently as well as within teams; fluent in German and English
* Willingness to travel up to 30 percent
