The NCE Construction Offshore Bid management & Operations Logistics represents the commercial part of the offshore turbine installation organisation in the regional business unit Northern & Central Europe (NCE). The Bid Management Offshore team is responsible for construction-related activities from early customer engagement to bidding and contract negotiation until the completion of the contract. We are looking for a Lead Proposal Manager to join our Construction Bid Management Offshore department, where you will be working on sales projects for the world leaders in wind. Our Construction Managers work on the world's largest and most exciting renewable energy projects dealing with essential technical and commercial issues to deliver the world's net zero goals.

**Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for the technical, budgetary, commercial, and contractual proposals for the construction of offshore wind turbines projects for our customers. Your main responsibilities will include

- Tailor project-specific technical, logistical, and commercial solutions for Construction and Installation of Offshore Wind Turbines meeting customer and Vestas' requirements
- Create accurate and competitive budgets for the Construction of Offshore Wind farms, covering various aspects such as Project Management, Pre-assembly operations, Harbors, Installation, Commissioning, Staffing, and Vessel scopes
- Manage the interface between Sales and Construction, involving various stakeholders from subject matter experts to senior management
- Balance customer project business case optimization with an appropriate cost/risk level for Vestas
- Ensure PM/Construction elements of FIDIC based TSA contracts are appropriately drafted with support from legal advisors

**Qualifications**

To thrive in this role (m/f/d), we believe that you have the following experience

- Bachelor’s degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or similar technical discipline)
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience such as project management of large-scale projects in energy, infrastructure or equal. Alternatively in similar technical (electrical or mechanical) fields
- Extensive technical knowledge and robust commercial business insight such as contract and risk management of large-scale industrial projects
- Understanding of the technical complexities of offshore wind projects as well as the contractual mechanisms
- Experience with the FIDIC Yellow Book would be highly advantageous
- Fluency in English

- Entwicklung projektspezifischer technischer, logistischer und kommerzieller Lösungen für die Errichtung und Installation von Offshore-Windturbinen, die sowohl Kunden- als auch Vestas-Anforderungen erfüllen
- Erstellung präziser und wettbewerbsfähiger Budgets für den Bau von Offshore-Windparks, einschließlich Projektmanagement, Vor-Montage, Hafenlogistik, Installation, Inbetriebnahme, Personal und Schiffseinsatz
- Steuerung der Schnittstelle zwischen Sales und Construction, inklusive Zusammenarbeit mit Fachleuten und dem Senior Management
- Ausbalancieren der Kundenprojekt-Business-Cases mit einem angemessenen Kosten-/Risikolevel für Vestas
- Sicherstellen, dass PM-/Construction-Elemente der FIDIC-basierten TSA-Verträge mit Unterstützung der Rechtsabteilung korrekt erstellt werden

**Qualifikationen**

Um in dieser Rolle (w/m/d) erfolgreich zu sein, bringst du idealerweise Folgendes mit

- Abgeschlossenes Bachelor-Studium (Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau, Bauingenieurwesen oder vergleichbare technische Fachrichtung)
- Mindestens 5 Jahre relevante Erfahrung, z. B. im Projektmanagement von Großprojekten in Energie, Infrastruktur oder ähnlichen Bereichen alternativ in technischen Feldern (elektrisch oder mechanisch)
- Umfassende technische Kenntnisse und ausgeprägtes kommerzielles Verständnis, z. B. im Vertrags- und Risikomanagement von Großprojekten
- Verständnis für die technischen Komplexitäten von Offshore-Windprojekten sowie deren vertragliche Mechanismen
