Lead Software Engineer - Process Intelligence (all genders)


As a Lead Software Engineer for Process Intelligence, you will take ownership of both the strategic and technical aspects of process intelligence. You will drive the process intelligence roadmap, align initiatives with business priorities, and ensure the delivery of scalable, high-impact solutions that transform how the organization operates.


Beyond providing technical expertise, you will serve as the strategic partner for business stakeholders, shaping domain roadmaps, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring adoption of insights and solutions. You will guide a team of engineers, analysts, and business experts to deliver sustainable process improvements and measurable business outcomes.


**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**


- Act as the domain thought leader, bringing deep process knowledge and innovative perspectives to business stakeholders
- Build strong stakeholder engagement and act as the primary point of contact for domain leadership, ensuring adoption and measurable impact of process intelligence
- Define and own the process intelligence roadmap for a specific business domain (e.g., Procurement), aligning with enterprise strategy and business priorities
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical designs and actionable specifications
- Provide technical expertise and support to business stakeholders, ensuring process intelligence insights drive measurable improvements such as cost reduction, efficiency gains, and informed decision-making Communicate findings effectively through compelling visual narratives
- Oversee and lead the design, development, and deployment of process intelligence, task mining, and execution solutions, ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and models to enable seamless data integration and high-quality insights
- Leverage AI-driven techniques (predictive analytics, NLP, ML, LLMs, copilots) to enhance automation, analytics, and decision-making
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical leadership to engineers and analysts, fostering shared ownership and strong delivery capabilities


**WHO YOU ARE**


- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field
- Several years of experience in process intelligence, technology consulting, or software implementation, with a strong focus on data engineering, process mining, and automation
- Business Domain Knowledge: Hands-on experience working in at least one business domain (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, or Customer Service), with a deep understanding of process workflows, KPIs, and optimization opportunities
- Process Intellgence Expertise: Experience with leading process Intelligence platforms (Celonis), including the design and implementation of data models, dashboards, execution apps, and automation workflows
- Data Engineering & Integration: Strong background in developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines to enable seamless data extraction, transformation, and integration for process mining analysis
- Process Mining Data Models: Proficiency in Multi-Event Log modeling and Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM) to enhance process insights
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and Databricks for scalable data processing, big data analytics, and machine learning integration into process mining solutions
- Expertise in AI-driven process mining techniques, including predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
