Our new Technical Engineering Center is a perfect place to build on Tesla's success story in Europe.  The role of the Maintenance Planner is to ensure asset integrity by overseeing the maintenance planning processes. The role requires extensive coordination of maintenance schedules, budget forecasting, asset management, vendor management and safety compliance.  The candidate will be proficient in using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and bring expertise in asset monitoring, maintenance scheduling and the use of automation techniques and technologies.  The Planner works jointly with Management, Engineering and suppliers to organize activities which are critical to the operation; from our major utilities to our mobile equipment in Intralogistics team such as forklifts, dollys, tugger, racks.  The Planner will be part of a specific engineering department dedicated to the development of our technology – working side by side with Giga Factory Berlin Brandenburg. 

### What You’ll Do

* Plan and schedule preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected equipment failures and optimize asset performance based on OEM and Statutory requirements and assign corrective maintenance activities to ensure quick and effective resolution of equipment breakdowns and issues 
* Develop and manage reporting tools to effectively track performance metrics
* Optimize scheduling and technician productivity through best practice planning methods that support best practice scheduling and ensure safe, reliable plant operation 
* Oversee the management of the CMMS system to ensure accurate data input on maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset information, ensuring maintenance tasks are tracked and completed on time 
* Ensure the full implementation and compliance of the REGIS system for tracking maintenance tasks, asset data, and performance metrics 
* Establish and maintain an efficient spare parts management process, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely procurement, and generate bi-weekly reports on inventory and usage 
* Coordinate supplier procurement, negotiating expectations and ensuring the timely availability of maintenance supplies 
* Screen all notifications and create detailed job plans for all Work Orders (WO) in area of responsibility, via the relevant internal systems. Create assignments for the appropriate teams. E.g., a job package would include: a copy of the WO; technical service data; reference drawings, any additional safety information 
* Maintain a planned backlog for assigned teams in the areas of responsibility via CMMS (Training will be offered for Tesla internal software). Maintain planned repairs in area of responsibility by priority. Produce or assist in creation of schedules for all repairs 
* Create and maintain Equipment’s database in CMMS. This includes data input for equipment, Bill of Materials (BOM), reusable job plans for repetitive jobs, predictive/preventive maintenance task list, equipment items and maintenance plans 

### What You’ll Bring

* Experience in the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS/SAP), and experience building maintenance schedules, automations and reporting tools 
* Maintenance experience with 1-2 years of maintenance role; an understanding of TPM production process and methodology (preferred) 
* Experience in designing and building processes in a digital environment the encourage an efficient operational environment and strong data controls 
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrates personal leadership 
* Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including solid interpersonal skills, could negotiate with Vendors, proficient in computer applications MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point, CMMS)
