Your future job:
We are seeking you for a permanent, direct-hire position with our client, a startup specializing in high-tech hardware and software development for military aviation technology. You will be based in Munich as Manufacturing Operations Manager (m/f/d) working full-time (40 hours).
Your tasks:
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets, maximize efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Optimize production workflows, assembly processes, and floor organization to improve scalability and operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste, downtime, and bottlenecks.
- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve throughput, quality, and resource utilization.
- Lead and develop production teams while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and suppliers to ensure smooth production execution and standardized manufacturing processes.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and production process optimization.
- Strong leadership experience managing production teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of production planning, assembly line optimization, manufacturing scalability, and OSH safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset.
- Fluent in German and English; experience in electronics, aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing is a strong advantage.
