The Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic systems, clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, and automation.


This position is part of the field service team and will be based in the region of Lower Saxony, around Hanover. Our vision at Beckman Coulter is to redefine healthcare from diagnosis to diagnosis.


You are part of the field service team and report to the Regional Service Manager, who is responsible for customer support. If you feel comfortable in a supportive role and want to help build a first-class customer service organization, read on.

Installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic systems, immunochemistry, clinical chemistry, and automation systems
Compliance with relevant regulations such as MPG, MedGV, and VDE, as well as Beckman Coulter quality regulations
Briefing users in the laboratory and answering technical questions from our customers
Close collaboration with colleagues from sales, application, service hotline, and service dispatch
Organization and optimization of the personal spare parts inventory
Timely completion of all administrative tasks, such as recording customer service reports with Service Max

Completed training as a technician and/or MTLA or comparable training in the scientific/technical field with 2+ years of experience, Solid technical knowledge (mechanics/electronics)
Great interest in direct customer contact and in successfully solving complex problems together with our customers in a varied workday
High degree of independence and accustomed to acting independently
In this position, you can bring in your social skills combined with a customer-oriented mindset and approach
Fluent German language skills, good English language skills are a prerequisite for communication with our customers
Willingness to travel, valid driver's license class B

Experience in a technical service company, ideally in healthcare
Relevant knowledge of regulations and standards for IVDs.
