- **Organization and Control of Mechanical Activities:**
\- Planning, organizing and monitoring all assembly and handling activities
\- Workforce planning for assemblers, foremen and subcontractors
- **Technical Responsibility:**
\- Implementation of drawings, bills of materials and technical specifications
\- Clarification of technical details with design, project management and customers
\- Contribution to assembly concepts and processes
- **Leadership and personnel:**
\- Technical leadership of a work preparation team and an assembly team within a satellite project
\- Instruction and onboarding of new employees and external contractors
\- Motivation, guidance and performance evaluation of employees
- **Project and Cost Control:**
\- Monitoring schedules, assembly progress and costs
\- Reporting deviations, risks and additional costs to project management
\- Participation in change requests and technical modifications
#### Your Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering
- Completed technical vocational training (e.g. mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic) (advantageous)
- Several years of experience in industrial assembly
- Experience in leading assembly teams
- Confident reading of technical drawings and assembly plans
- Basic knowledge of project management, Knowledge of common occupational safety and quality standards
- Leadership skills and assertiveness
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Resilience and problem-solving ability
- Willingness to travel and work on assembly sites (depending on company)
