Job Description:
We are looking for a Production Employee (AIV Engineer) to join our growing team and support the manufacturing of our state-of-the-art satellite propulsion systems. In this role, you will work hands-on with high-precision components, follow established production processes, and ensure the highest quality standards in our Assembly, Integration & Verification (AIV) environment.
The position is part of a 2-shift operation with rotating shifts, offering a dynamic and collaborative workplace where reliability, accuracy, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute production processes according to defined procedures and work instructions
* Monitor, collect, and evaluate production data
* Perform assembly and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment, including vacuum systems
* Conduct 1st-level troubleshooting and escalate issues when deviations occur (SQDC)
* Follow all safety regulations and immediately raise concerns in case of risk
* Support colleagues within your area and collaborate in a team-oriented environment
* Assist with workstation setup and preparation
Who you are:
* Strong technical or manual interest (technical training in electronics, mechanics, or a comparable field is an advantage)
* Minimum 4+ years of overall work experience
* High attention to detail and excellent fine-motor skills
* Reliable, structured, and quality-driven way of working
* Problem-solving mindset and ability to follow defined processes
* Good English skills are required; German is an advantage.
Nice to have:
* Experience working in a production, laboratory, or clean-room environment
* A completed vocational apprenticeship (Lehre) or HTL is a strong plus, but not required.
* Previous exposure to 2-shift operations
Type of contract: Full-time position: 38.5 hours/week (2-shift operation)
Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at € 2.300,02 gross per month, with a planned significant overpayment depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
