### Your Duties:
- Design, develop, and integrate advanced optical and laser solutions within a dynamic start-up environment
- Perform optical simulations and modelling to optimize system performance
- Develop and implement alignment and calibration procedures for optical components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, partner companies, system and product development teams
- Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to optics and laser technologies
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, test plans, and user manuals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optics and laser technologies and industry trends
- Foster a can-do culture, continuous innovation thinking
### Your Qualifications:
- Completed degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in designing and developing optical and laser systems
- Strong knowledge of optics, laser technologies, and related hardware, including lenses, mirrors, beam splitters, and lasers
- Experience with system integration, debugging, and testing of optical and laser systems
- Experience with laser safety standards and regulation
- Hands-on mentality, proactive approach, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; German skills are a plus
