PHYSICIST / RESEARCH TECHNOLOGY SALES MANAGER (M/F/D)

Sales: but not quite the usual way, with not quite the type of people you may expect. We make top of the line, large scale research instrumentation, and this is not done in a one-fits all way. Of course, the earnings have to be right, as does the chemistry in the team. But there‘s more: for example, satisfaction or even pride in the results of your work.
YOUR CORE TASKS
Facilitate the creation of the best possible research instruments for scientists in your world regions of responsibility.
Connect personally to our international customer base. With your background and talent you speak their language and understand their needs. Let your competence and honesty speak for itself and establish long term trust.
Acquire in depth understanding of customer’s technical requirements. You will always discuss solutions at the very frontier of scientific progress.
Bring your own creativity and background knowledge into the process. Establish a true win-win environment
Promote our products that are known for their outstanding performance. Join and represent us at international events.
Manage the response to incoming tenders, commercially and technically. Your entrepreneurial and hands-on smartness will be called upon
Bring feedback from the scientific community into the company. Connect to Product Management and R&D.
Connect to your international team colleagues - together we stand!
Degree in Science (not limited to Physics)
Hands-on experience in at least one branch of Surface Science (UHV, ARPES, STM, ...)
Business fluency in English, Other language skills welcome
Good presentation skills
A quick mind and a high degree of flexibility
Curiosity, combined with practical, hands-on, entrepreneurial attitude
Team orientation and communication strength
Reliability, your word is your bond
Courageous to apply even if the first two points do not fi t 100%
