Tasks:
This research project mainly focuses on the non-invasive characterization of bowel and liver tissues using magnetic resonance imaging, CT, as well as molecular and optical imaging.
- The applicant is highly interested in basic science with a focus on preclinical imaging like computed tomography, optical imaging, and magnetic resonance imaging of mice
- Planning and conducting of experiments and documentation
- Evaluation and FAIR storage of imaging data
- Grant writing
- Organization and implementation of cooperation projects
Your profile:
Doctorate in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biophysics, pharmacy, or human biology/molecular medicine with experience in experimental research and an interest in immunology, cellular and molecular biology, and biotechnology
- Experience in molecular imaging and magnetic resonance imaging, including sequence optimization
- Preferably skills in molecular/cell biology and animal handling (FELASA B or equal) is desirable
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English (Level B2)
- Excellent management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and flexible
