The Schlitzer Lab is seeking a highly motivated postdoc to investigate the relationship among intratis-
sular localization, cellular function, and the ontogeny of myeloid cells. Starting at the earliest possible
date, this position is initially for 3 years and is integrated into the Cluster of Excellence Immunosensation and the Immunosensation3 spatial biology hub at the University of Bonn.
The Schlitzer Lab at the Life and Medical Sciences Institute (https://bit.ly/2RXDH0M) utilizes cutting-
edge spatial proteomics and transcriptomics to unravel novel mechanisms and regulatory circuits during the functional specialization and development of myeloid cells.
Postdoctoral researcher position in Spatial Immunology (100%, TVL13)
University degree (PhD) in biomedical sciences, biology, bioinformatics, or a similar subject
Strong background in immunology and/or computational biology
Knowledge and experience in microscopy and/or spatial biology approaches
Knowledge of flow cytometry
Animal handling skills
strong background in biology, preferable immunology
Knowledge of the programming language R & Phyton
excellent command of the English language
motivated, flexible, team oriented and interested in continued professional development.
