Your duties
You will perform research within the research group of Jun.-Prof. Dr. Johannes Walker on the synthesis of bioisosteric compounds.
One position will be dedicated to the development of pericyclic methods towards bioisosteric compounds
One position will be dedicated to the development of strain-release methods towards bioisosteric compounds
Your profile
A PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry (completed or will soon complete) with a Master or Diploma in this field.
Experience of multistep organic synthesis.
Experience of homogeneous catalysis and/or photocatalysis is desirable.
Detailed expertise in analytical and spectroscopic tools, namely NMR, XRD, IR, UV-Vis, MS, CV, Fluorescence Spectroscopy.
Very good language skills in English and/or German.
