## Job description

Hey, are you looking for an exciting (mandatory) internship including a thesis project where you can gain valuable insights into the field of **paint development  ? Then we have just the right thing for you!**

**We are immediately** seeking someone to support our team for a ** minimum of 6 months** in the development of a new effect pigment coating system for synthetic leather surfaces. We will need you **on-site at our location in Hanover-Vinnhorst ** during this time .

What can you expect from us?

- You will clarify basic questions about formulating and stabilizing an effect pigment varnish.
- You investigate various receptive influences on material test results and the resulting optics.
- You analyze the rheological influence of these paint formulations and their correlation with technical performance.

You have the option of writing your thesis after the internship. The specific scope of the task will be individually tailored to your specific upcoming Bachelor's/Master's thesis.

## Qualifications

- You are studying in the field of surface coating, chemistry, paint engineering, textile engineering or related fields, so that you bring basic aspects of our area of responsibility with you.
- You should be familiar with **practical work in a laboratory, as well as with standard analytical procedures** in chemistry and physics, both theoretically and practically.
- Knowledge of rheological and tribological methods in theory and practice
- You should be familiar with MS Office and have good knowledge of the common programs.
- Excellent German and good English skills, both spoken and written, are absolutely essential for us.

In addition to these professional requirements, we are also looking for certain qualities and skills:

- You are an **independent and committed individual** who is characterized by a careful and precise work ethic.
- **Analytical thinking** is also advantageous and can help you solve tasks effectively.
