You’re passionate about technology and how it transforms the way people work? As a Presales Technical Consultant at HP, you’ll be right at that intersection — combining deep technical expertise with real business impact.

**Your mission:** act as the technical authority for HP’s sales teams, partners, and customers across Germany. You’ll uncover business needs, design tailored IT solutions, and engage the right experts from across HP’s presales, alliance, and divisional organizations to move opportunities forward. Working directly with customer technology leaders and decision makers, you’ll translate HP’s innovation into clear customer value — helping ensure HP wins the business with the best possible solution.

You’ll show customers how HP’s Computing portfolio — from high-performance PCs and workstations to modern management, security, and collaboration solutions — can simplify IT, empower users, and deliver measurable results.

**What you’ll do**

- Advise Corporate, Enterprise, and Public Sector customers on IT strategy and solution design.
- Translate business challenges into tailored, future-ready HP solutions.
- Cover the full HP Computing portfolio: PCs, Workstations, Thin Clients, Retail POS, Security, Modern Management, Collaboration, and SaaS.
- Collaborate in account planning, opportunity qualification, and technical deal shaping.
- Identify service opportunities such as OS imaging, BIOS customization, or modern deployment.
- Deliver demos, technical presentations, and competitive insights that build confidence.
- Support tenders, RFIs, and RFPs with precise technical input and documentation.
- Lead proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and customer validations.
- Strengthen long-term customer relationships through technical expertise and trust.
- Work closely with presales peers, alliance partners, and product divisions across the portfolio to move deals forward.
- Provide structured feedback from the field to HP’s product and category teams.

**What you bring**

- Degree or vocational training in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Around 5+ years of experience in presales, IT consulting, or solution architecture — or the motivation to grow fast into such a role.
- Strong understanding of hardware, operating systems, cloud, and cybersecurity.
- Skilled at making complex topics simple — whether for IT experts or business leaders.
- Fluent in German and English, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and abroad (approx. 25–50%) and a valid driver’s license.
- Confident with MS Office and CRM tools.
