Manager - Payments (m/f/x) to join the team! Job Description At
Tipico, we power seamless, secure, and high‑performance payment
experiences for millions of sports betting and iGaming customers. As
our new Product Manager - Payments (m/f/x), part of our Payment
Technologies team, you will help shape the core systems that enable
deposits, withdrawals, payment routing, and regulatory compliance
across markets. Your playing field: Own the full lifecycle of payment
products and features—from discovery to release and performance
optimisation Define Epics and User Stories, guiding development teams
in a fast‑paced Agile environment Drive strategic development of
Tipico’s payment platform, including: Integration of new payment
methods and PSPs Payment orchestration capabilities (routing, retries,
failover, smart provider selection) Standardised, scalable payment
APIs and backend services Own the customer payment journeys with the
team, monitor and improve the key KPIs and conversion rates
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, business, and compliance
teams to ensure accurate requirements, prioritisation, and regulatory
alignment Partner closely with other Product Managers to coordinate
payment roadmap delivery across the organisation Specify and monitor
non‑functional requirements such as reliability, latency,
fraud‑related KPIs, and transaction‑success performance Conduct
UAT and sign off, ensuring quality, compliance, and operational
readiness Qualifications Which skills should you bring to the pitch:
Payments Expertise. Solid experience in payments product management,
ideally including PSPs, APMs, banking rails, settlement flows, and
reconciliation fundamentals Payment Orchestration. Hands-on experience
or strong familiarity with payment orchestration platforms (routing
logic, cascading, retries) Gateway Integrations. Experience working
with payment gateway integrations Risk & Monitoring. Understanding of
transaction monitoring systems and risk control mechanisms Regulatory
Compliance. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as KYC/KYD,
AML, PSD2, SCA, safeguarding, and market-specific rules Financial
Processes. Strong understanding of financial processes and payment
compliance topics Technical Collaboration. Ability to drive technical
discussions with architects, developers, and risk/compliance
stakeholders Agile Delivery. Experience working in an Agile
development environment with complex backend systems Customer
Centricity. Customer-centric mindset and ability to translate user
behaviour into payment product decisions Stakeholder Management. Basic
project and stakeholder management skills, including planning,
business cases, and issue tracking High-Risk Environments (Preferred).
Background in iGaming or sports betting, or other high-scale,
high-risk, real-time transaction environments Additional Information
