### **About the Role**
We are expanding our Payments team and are looking for an experienced **Product Owner Payments** to help shape the future of our SAP-integrated Payments products. As part of our growing team, you will collaborate closely with the Product Manager Payments and cross-functional stakeholders to build innovative, customer-centric solutions with long-term impact.
## **Your Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain expert-level knowledge of the **Payments business domain**, gathering and analysing data to define precise product specifications.
- Ensure Payments products align with the company’s strategic goals, vision, and business objectives.
- Own and continuously refine the **product roadmap**, communicating priorities and progress to stakeholders.
- Drive and manage the **product backlog**, ensuring a logical, value-driven progression of work.
- Take accountability for **achieving release timelines** and delivering key product epics.
- Proactively contribute to long-term roadmap planning, shaping the customer proposition **3–5 years ahead**.
- Communicate effectively across cultures, adjusting style, detail level, and formality as needed.
- Operate independently within the scope of the role and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and improvements.
## **Your Profile**
### **Technical & Professional Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in **Finance**, **Computer Science**, or a related field.
- PSPO, CSP‑PO or similar certification is a strong plus.
### **Skills, Experience & Competencies**
- Solid understanding of **product and project management** concepts and methodologies.
- Strong **customer-focus**, with the ability to translate user needs into clear technical requirements.
- Familiarity with **Payments regulatory requirements** and the capability to convert these into product features.
- Strong numerical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Creativity, innovation drive, and an interest in working with evolving technologies.
- Knowledge of one or more relevant **programming languages**, **frameworks**, or **databases**.
- Ability to adapt to change, manage pressure, multitask, and make informed decisions.
- Preferred experience with **SAP** and **B2B Payments**.
- Excellent communication skills in **German and English**.
- Experience in **Treasury** or **Cash Management** is a plus.
