We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and oversee complex projects that integrate our cutting-edge technologies with those of our clients, particularly within the steel industry.

## Tasks

In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind the entire project lifecycle, from proposal development to design and commissioning. You will lead both internal and external teams, manage project scope, and ensure that our clients’ needs are met while supporting our growth strategy.

- Lead cross-functional teams (internal and external EPC) in the development, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of projects.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Oversee project finances in collaboration with the finance team, including tracking expenses and evaluating cost performance.
- Prepare and present regular project status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct trend analysis and proactively manage project risks, validating forecasts and identifying potential issues.
- Track and apply lessons learned to improve future project execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with all external parties, including risk management, action tracking, and documentation.
- Review and manage technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Assemble and lead project teams, allocating resources as needed, and ensure strict adherence to project deadlines and budgets.
- Proactively identify and resolve any overlooked aspects of projects.

## Requirements

- A degree in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, mechatronics, thermodynamics, industrial process engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience in project management within the mechanical and/or plant engineering sector, particularly in industries such as steel, oil & gas, chemicals, nuclear, or power.
- Experience with project management in large-scale technical systems (e.g., sintering plants, coke ovens, blast furnaces), with a strong understanding of thermal systems integration.
- Practical expertise in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources, as well as in project development and delivery.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a transparent, goal-oriented, and motivated working style.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software, with excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus, German language A1 oder higher level.
- Ability to travel up to 30% as required.

**Desirable Qualifications:**

- PMP certification.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Inventor, Navisworks, Plant3D).
- Knowledge of local permit and regulation processes.
- Experience with vendor and client relations, as well as managing contractors.
- Strong understanding of HSE policies and ensuring compliance for both internal and external parties.

**Deine Aufgaben**
In dieser dynamischen Rolle bist du die treibende Kraft hinter dem gesamten Projektlebenszyklus – von der Angebotserstellung über die Planung bis hin zur Inbetriebnahme. Du führst sowohl interne als auch externe Teams, managst den Projektumfang und stellst sicher, dass die Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden erfüllt werden, während du unsere Wachstumsstrategie unterstützt.

- Führung von interdisziplinären Teams (intern und extern, einschließlich EPC) bei der Entwicklung, Planung, Beschaffung, dem Bau und der Inbetriebnahme von Projekten.
- Entwicklung, Management und Überwachung von Projektplänen, Budgets und Ressourcenplänen, um eine fristgerechte Lieferung im Budgetrahmen sicherzustellen.
- Überwachung der Projektfinanzen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Finanzteam, einschließlich der Verfolgung von Ausgaben und der Bewertung der Kostenentwicklung.
- Erstellung und regelmäßige Präsentation von Projektstatusberichten an interne und externe Stakeholder.
- Durchführung von Trendanalysen und proaktive Risikomanagementmaßnahmen zur Validierung von Prognosen und Identifizierung potenzieller Probleme.
- Erfassung und Anwendung von Lessons Learned zur Verbesserung zukünftiger Projekte.
- Ansprechpartner für Kunden, Partner und Subunternehmer während des gesamten Projektlebenszyklus.
- Sicherstellung einer effektiven Kommunikation innerhalb des Teams und mit externen Parteien, einschließlich Risikomanagement, Verfolgung von Maßnahmen und Dokumentation.
- Überprüfung und Verwaltung der technischen Spezifikationen, um deren Genauigkeit und Übereinstimmung mit den Projektzielen sicherzustellen.

##### Was bringst Du mit?

- Ein Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Anlagenbau, Mechatronik, Thermodynamik, Verfahrenstechnik oder einem verwandten Bereich.
- Berufserfahrung im Projektmanagement im Bereich Maschinenbau und/oder Anlagenbau, insbesondere in den Branchen Stahl, Öl & Gas, Chemie, Kernenergie oder Energiewirtschaft.
- Erfahrung in der Projektabwicklung von Großprojekten technischer Systeme (z. B. Sinteranlagen, Kokereien, Hochöfen) mit fundiertem Wissen in der Integration von Thermalsystemen.
- Praktische Expertise in der Verwaltung von Projektbudgets, Zeitplänen und Ressourcen sowie in der Projektentwicklung und -durchführung.
- Ausgeprägte Führungs- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten mit einer transparenten, zielorientierten und motivierten Arbeitsweise.
- Eine proaktive, kollaborative Arbeitsweise mit starken Problemlösungs- und Entscheidungsfähigkeiten.
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Projektmanagement-Software, exzellente organisatorische Fähigkeiten und eine detailorientierte Herangehensweise.
- Fließende Englischkenntnisse; weitere Sprachkenntnisse sind von Vorteil, Deutschkenntnisse ab A1.
- Bereitschaft zu Reisen (bis zu 30%).
