Project Manager Technology & Products (d/f/m)

Join our Project Management Office (PMO) and take a leading role in managing hardware-focused microscopy product development projects in the Life Science sector. Our cross-site team collaborates closely to drive complex hardware and optical technology projects forward-efficiently, transparently, and with a clear focus on results
Project Leadership & Coordination: Lead and monitor microscopy hardware development projects from concept through market launch.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., R&D, Optical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Production, Quality) and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
Resource & Budget Management: Optimize resource allocation for hardware and optical components, monitor budgets, and ensure timely achievement of milestones.
Technology & Innovation Management: Assess emerging microscopy and hardware technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive innovation.
Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Identify and mitigate risks related to hardware and optical design while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards
Academic Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
Microscopy Expertise: Proven knowledge of microscopy systems and optical principles is mandatory.
Professional Experience: Several years of project management experience in hardware-intensive industries (e.g., medical devices, optics, industrial equipment).
Methodological Expertise: Skilled in project management methodologies such as waterfall, agile, or hybrid approaches; experience with VPM (Visual Project Management) is a plus.
Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
Analytical & Structured Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to hardware and optical challenges.
Impact on Microscopy Innovation: Your work will directly influence the development of advanced optical instruments and precision hardware used in research and medical applications.
