Research Associate (m/f/x)
for Research room F1- Human Sensory Perception and Action
(subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L)
starting as soon as possible. The position is limited for three years. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG). The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (usually PhD).
conducting research on psychophysical and neural mechanisms of multisensory perception and action
supporting assistants and students on a project-related basis
conduction data analyses from empirical studies
preparing manuscripts for publications of research results
active collaborations with researchers from other research rooms in CeTI
university degree (diploma/master) in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive science, or related fields
experiences in conducting experiments in perception and using EEG or fNIRs methodologies
ability and willingness to work independently, conceptually and scientifically in a team
proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written
an international and interdisciplinary team
