**Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Quality Inspector (f/m/d) for the Norderstedt, Germany facility.**
In this exciting role, you verify routine product conformance to design requirements and provide objective evidence of results. You perform auditing, surveillance, and monitoring, identify and document discrepancies, and control non-conforming items. You also conduct preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformance, collaborate with customers during product or process verification, and initiate corrective actions for significant or repetitive issues.
**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include:**
- Performing and documenting dimensional inspections in accordance with design records and AQL levels, as well as visual inspections for obvious defects
- Review certification documents to ensure traceability requirements in accordance with AS9100 and Boeing quality standards
- Supporting the team in developing inspection plans and conducting internal customer and third-party audits
- Participating in internal and external online QA training courses
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)**
- Completed technical training, apprenticeship or similar within the aerospace or automotive industry
- 2-4 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Proficient in the use of mechanical testing equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Conversational level of German
- Basic understanding of technical English to interpret technical drawings and other paperwork.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
- Ideally, you have knowledge of QA inspection methods and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experienced in using the MS Office package
- Prior experience working with SAP is a plus
