The Institute for Emerging Electronic Technologies (IET) offers within the working group Perowskite Photovoltaik at the IFW Dresden a position for a
Research Associate (m/f/div)
starting at 1st of April 2026 in full-time (part-time is possible). The position is limited to 2 years. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissen-schaftszeitvertragsgesetz-WissZeitVG).
Main tasks:
Research on perovskite photovoltaic devices, including their processing and fabrication, using a broad range of methods from solution processing to thermal evaporation advanced spectro-scopic and microscopic characterization, optimization and analysis. The work includes collab-oration with national and international research partners.
Your profile:
As a successful candidate (m/f/div) you should have a master’s degree or diploma in physics and have a doctorate preferably with a background in physics or materials science. You are interested in basic and application-related research and experimental skills.
High self-motivation, excellent command of the english language and excellent computer skills as well as the ability to work in a team complete your profile.
You are ready-to-use and up-to-date knowledge of emerging electronics and photovoltaics.

The employment relationship, including the salary is according to the German tariff TV-L and
