Your tasks
• Development and application of integrative/multimodal machine learning algorithms to analysis of digitized pathological images, multiplexed and molecular data
Your profile
• Completed university education in computer/data sciences, physics, mathematics, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences or similar subject
• Experience with development and implementation of modern machine learning technologies for computer vision and molecular data analysis
• Good knowledge of Python is a pre-requisite
• Previous projects in medical domain would be a plus
• Good team and communication skills, ability to work
independently

Tolkach Lab is a computational pathology/oncology research group at the University Hospital Cologne (www.tolklab.de). We are located in the Institute of Pathology and tightly associated with different other departments and research groups on the campus of the University. The main research directions of the lab are AI-based diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive tools for pathology and oncology, multi-modal data integration, and studies of intratumoral heterogeneity and cancer evolution.
