## GENERAL

As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to complete an initial training program at our headquarters in Germany. After successful integration, you will relocate to the USA and work independently and specifically on customer projects and the development and expansion of business relationships. You will be integrated into the US subsidiary and report directly to the Managing Director. You can also look forward to regular visits to Germany and participation in our annual team events.

Nach erfolgreicher Integration siedeln Sie in die USA über und arbeiten dort eigenständig und gezielt an Kundenprojekten und dem Auf- und Ausbau von Geschäftsbeziehungen. Hierbei sind Sie in die US-Tochter eingebunden und berichten direkt an den Geschäftsführer. Außerdem können Sie sich auf regelmäßige Besuche in Deutschland und die Teilnahme an unseren jährlichen Teamevents freuen.

## JOB TASKS

As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the following tasks:

- Coordinating and executing sales and marketing activities for North America with focus on System Integrators in automated storage solutions, as well as BITO Engineering
- With your technical expertise, you will organize sales and manage customer projects from inquiry to order placement and ensure effective communication with partners and the parent company
- You will manage day-to-day sales activities, prepare calculations and quotations, work with the US back office and German headquarters, and manage sales budgets and forecasts
- Gather market intelligence, identify potential, analyze competition and create action plans aligned with company goals
- Participate in global meetings, trade shows and events with regular travel to customers within the US

Als Manager für Vertrieb und Geschäftsentwicklung sind Sie in erster Linie für folgende Aufgaben zuständig:

- Koordination und Durchführung von Vertriebs- und Marketingaktivitäten für Nordamerika mit Schwerpunkt auf Systemintegratoren im Bereich automatisierte Lagerlösungen, sowie BITO Engineering
- Mit Ihrem technischem Fachwissen organisieren Sie den Vertrieb und betreuen Kundenprojekte von der Anfrage bis zur Auftragsvergabe und sorgen für eine effektive Kommunikation mit Partnern und der Muttergesellschaft
- Sie leiten die täglichen Vertriebsaktivitäten, erstellen Kalkulationen und Angebote, arbeiten mit dem US-Backoffice und der deutschen Zentrale zusammen und verwalten Vertriebsbudgets und -prognosen
- Sammeln von Marktinformationen, Erkennen von Potenzialen, Analysieren des Wettbewerbs und Erstellen von Aktionsplänen, die auf die Unternehmensziele abgestimmt sind
- Teilnahme an weltweiten Meetings, Messen und Veranstaltungen mit regelmäßigen Reisen zu Kunden innerhalb der USA

## MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following minimum requirements:

- Commercial education with very good technical understanding or vice versa; additional education as a business administrator/technician or industrial engineering degree is desirable
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the field of warehouse technology / steel construction, especially in an international logistics environment
- Ideally, professional experience with automation in intralogistics
- Experience in key account management is desirable
- Communication skills, an independent and structured way of working, a high level of commitment, results-oriented action, flexibility and a quick grasp of the situation
- Understanding of project management and the use of MS Office applications
- Knowledge of reading and understanding technical drawings
- Very good knowledge of English, other languages desirable
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad

Um für diese Stelle in Frage zu kommen, sollten Sie die folgenden Mindestanforderungen erfüllen:

- Kaufmännische Ausbildung mit sehr gutem technischen Verständnis oder umgekehrt; eine Zusatzausbildung als Fachwirt/Techniker oder Studium Wirtschaftsingenieur ist wünschenswert
- Mind. 5 Jahre Vertriebserfahrung im Bereich Lagertechnik und / oder Stahlbau insbesondere im internationalen Logistik-Umfeld
- Idealerweise Berufserfahrungen mit Automation in der Intralogistik
- Erfahrungen im Bereich Key Account Management wünschenswert
- Kommunikationsfähigkeit, eine selbstständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise, hohe Einsatzbereitschaft, ergebnisorientiertes Handeln, Flexibilität und eine schnelle Auffassungsgabe
- Kenntnisse in Projektmanagement und dem Einsatz von MS Office-Anwendungen
- Kenntnisse im Lesen und Verstehen von technischen Zeichnungen
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse, weitere Sprachen wünschenswert
- Bereitschaft zu Dienstreisen im In- und Ausland
