Aufgaben
As the Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering annual event revenue targets and driving profitable utilisation across all event spaces and F&B outlets. The Event Sales Manager will play a key role in positioning Wilde Vienna as one of the city's most sought-after venues for corporate, creative and cultural events, ensuring strong market visibility and consistent commercial performance.
You will have full ownership of driving event business across multiple venues, from smaller events, to exclusive buyouts, and large-scale Courtyard events of up to 1,500 guests. This position is responsible for proactively sourcing and securing bookings, developing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and converting business through to contract.
The role will also work closely with the Food and Beverage team on property to assist with planning events that realise the client's vision. It carries accountability for maximising utilisation of event spaces in close collaboration with on-property Sales and F&B teams, while delivering against defined KPIs that directly impact overall hotel profitability. This role also plans and executes sales-driven activities such as client events and site inspections, and conducts performance analysis with a strong focus on P&L and post-event evaluation.
What you can do for us:
* Generate and convert high value event business, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract and seamless handover to operations.
* Proactively identify and develop event concepts, partnerships and seasonal opportunities that drive incremental revenue and brand visibility.
* Build and leverage strong relationships across Vienna's agency, corporate, embassy and cultural networks, positioning the property as a first choice venue.
* Conduct strategic sales outreach, client entertainment and site inspections to grow premium and high volume event business.
* Develop tailored, commercially sound proposals aligned with brand positioning, market demand, seasonality and profitability targets.
* Drive optimal utilisation of event spaces, guest rooms and F and B outlets, with clear pipeline visibility and accurate forecasting.
* Ensure seamless event execution through structured pre event planning, detailed documentation and close collaboration with operations and third parties.
* Monitor conversion rates, average spend and profitability, conducting post event P and L reviews and sharing market intelligence insights.
* Build long term client relationships to secure repeat business, tracking year on year trends and opportunities.
* Independently manage a busy schedule, maintaining organisation, responsiveness and a clear overview in a fast paced environment.
