Location/Division Specific Information
We are a research, development, and production site in Bremen currently, with about 500 employees, whose “high-end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Our innovative products in the fields of Life Sciences MS and Inorganic MS, as well as T Elemental Analysis, are among the leading products globally in their respective markets.

A day in the Life:
- Develop and optimize workflows for PFAS enrichment/cleanup from wastewater under supervision.
- Establish and refine GC-MS acquisition methods, ensuring flawless calibration and quality control.
- Benchmark key analytical metrics against established LC-MS workflows
Keys to Success:
- Currently enrolled in a Chemistry PhD. (or equivalent) with a strong analytical focus.
Experience
- Completed graduate-level coursework and practicals in applied analytical chemistry and chromatography.
- Experience from project/lab practicums.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Basic familiarity with instrumental analysis workflows and data evaluation (calibration, QC, method validation concepts).
- Proficient written and spoken English.
