(Senior) DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) – Linux

Your role
As a (Senior) DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d), you will help operate and continuously improve our on-premises infrastructure and core platform services. You ensure reliability, security, and performance while working closely with Product teams.
Your responsibilities include:
* Operating and maintaining our on-premises data centre infrastructure
* Administering and securing Linux systems and core services
* Supporting high-availability, monitoring, and alerting setups
* Operating storage, networking, and mail services
* Keeping systems up to date, secure, and compliant
* Collaborating with internal teams and documenting systems and processes
What you bring along
* Several years of experience in system, network, or infrastructure engineering
* Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL / Oracle Linux preferred)
* Solid understanding of networking, high availability, and system operations
* Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code tools
* A security-aware mindset and strong troubleshooting skills
* Good communication skills and a collaborative working style
* English proficiency at B2+ level
Nice to have
* Experience with Kubernetes, container networking, or service meshes
* Knowledge of Ceph or other distributed storage systems
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, virtualization platforms, or database clusters
* Experience with monitoring, observability, or secret management tools
* Relevant certifications or German language skills
