As a Senior Engineer in Hardware Validation and Test System Development you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing test systems for validating and verifying our cutting-edge hardware solutions - from early prototypes through to series production. You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and system development, playing a vital role in ensuring product quality, performance, and reliability.
Senior Engineer*HW Validation / Test System Development
- Responsible for the development of hardware-related test systems for design validation and production testing within the Hardware Validation team
- Contribute to the full hardware test lifecycle, from initial prototypes to series production readiness
- Collaborate closely with the hardware design team to define, optimize, and implement test setups and sequences
- Create and maintain test specifications and automated test cases tailored to specific product and validation requirements
- Develop test libraries and software components (C, C) for automated test execution in coordination with the project development team
- Manage the setup, execution, and analysis of automated test flows for validation and development tasks in defined technical domains
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering
- Solid understanding of test instrumentation and modern measurement technologies
- Knowledge of networking (IP) and wireless technologies such as WLAN and Bluetooth
- Good understanding of automotive bus systems, including CAN and LIN
- Familiarity with Linux and Android operating systems
- Strong programming skills in C, C/C, and Python
- Proficient in spoken and written English
