# Your responsibilities
- You will perform operational tasks in the areas of data engineering and data processing.
- In the area of data engineering, you will focus on identifying, analyzing, and systematically transferring data from various sources into the central data platform (Microsoft Fabric).
- You will structure data in a targeted manner to ensure consistency, quality, and structure, and to enable its transfer into the central data platform (Microsoft Fabric).
- By structuring and linking various data sources within the Uhde organization, you lay the foundation for the implementation of AI functionalities.
- You ensure compliance with data governance guidelines and guarantee secure access (Identity and Access Management) to the data models in the Data Catalog.
- By documenting the data platform and the data sets it contains, you ensure auditability.
- In your role as IT Senior Expert Data Foundation Platform, you will perform fundamental project management tasks and lead small to medium-sized IT projects.

# Your profile
- You hold an academic degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, or telecommunications engineering, as well as at least 3 years of professional experience.
- You bring practical, relevant technical and product knowledge in the areas of data engineering, data analytics, and data science.
- You have extensive experience with relevant IT systems (particularly the Microsoft platform). Experience with Azure DevOps is desirable.
- You possess advanced written and spoken English skills.
- Your practical experience in delivering IT services complements your understanding of processes and IT methodologies (e.g., ITIL) in day-to-day IT operations.
- You work independently and responsibly, identify vulnerabilities in the data foundation early on, and prefer to resolve issues on your own before involving higher levels of escalation.
