# The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Growth Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable API integrations that connect HelloFresh with external partner ecosystems including telecoms, financial providers, loyalty programs, and health/wellness platforms.

This role combines technical execution (building and deploying APIs, data workflows, and automation) with project ownership (defining requirements, managing partners, ensuring delivery).

You will own integrations from design to production, delivering end-to-end partner connectivity that enables subscription bundling, loyalty rewards, account linking, and nutrition data exchange, all while maintaining reliability, compliance, and a seamless customer experience.

# What you’ll do:

### **End-to-End integration delivery**

- Own the full lifecycle of new partner integrations - from scoping and solution design to implementation, testing, and go-live.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and automation scripts to connect HelloFresh with partner platforms.
- Manage authentication flows using OAuth2 / OpenID Connect for secure data exchange.
- Build and operate account linking, billing, and lifecycle management APIs for bundled subscriptions and loyalty programs.
- Configure and manage data pipelines and monitoring for recurring syncs and reporting.

### **Solution architecture & technical execution**

- Design integration architectures aligned with HelloFresh’s core systems (account, billing, order, and loyalty domains).
- Implement flexible integration logic for revenue share, loyalty attribution, or benefit application.
- Build and maintain **API documentation**, **SDKs**, and **partner developer guides**.
- Establish standardized patterns and templates for scalable partner onboarding.
- Troubleshoot issues, manage error handling, and ensure SLA adherence.

### **Partner-facing technical ownership**

- Act as the **primary technical contact** for partner engineering teams (e.g., telcos, wellness apps, airline loyalty programs).
- Translate partner requirements into concrete API specifications and implementation plans.
- Support pilot integrations, ensure smooth onboarding, and provide post-launch maintenance.

### **Project leadership & delivery**

- Plan, track, and deliver multiple integration projects concurrently.
- Define milestones, monitor progress, and report outcomes to Product and Growth stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Finance teams to align on business logic and compliance needs.
- Ensure integrations are delivered on time, within scope, and at production-level reliability.

### ** Quality, security, and monitoring**

- Implement robust logging, auditing, and alerting for partner integrations.
- Ensure compliance with HelloFresh’s security and privacy standards (GDPR, PII handling).
- Optimize performance and reliability through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to internal best practices for API governance and version control.

# What you’ll bring:

**Required technical skills**

- Strong experience with **RESTful and GraphQL API development** (Node.js, Python, or Go preferred).
- Solid understanding of **OAuth2 / OpenID Connect**, webhooks, and secure token exchange.
- Experience with **API design, testing (Postman/Swagger), and documentation**.
- Familiarity with **serverless/cloud environments** (AWS Lambda, ECS, or GCP Functions).
- Working knowledge of **SQL/NoSQL databases** and **data transformation** (JSON, CSV, Databricks workbooks ).
- Proven ability to set up **CI/CD pipelines**, monitoring, and error logging (Sentry, ELK).

**Preferred experience**

- Background in **B2B SaaS integrations**, **subscription commerce**, or **loyalty/fintech APIs**.
- Experience managing **partner integrations** across multiple regions.
- Understanding of **billing systems**, **revenue-share models**, or **points-based loyalty frameworks**.
- Familiarity with **Contentful**, **Snowflake**, N8N, Zapier or **internal data APIs** a plus.
